As we approach the end of the 2021-2022 school year it is time to consider the scholarship process. Several years ago Trudy Broadfoot established a scholarship fund for students from Hillside Chapel who are attending Christian colleges or universities. The money that comes out of the this fund will be applied directly to your school account for tuition this coming fall. The scholarship will be equally distributed among approved applicants who meet the following criteria:
1. Submit the application to Pastor John Emmons, email jemmons@hillsidecma.org, or the church office at 3515 Shakertown Road, Beavercreek, OH 45430. You must apply each year even if you have applied in the past.
2. Plan to attend a post-secondary, evangelical Christian school of higher learning. Hillside Chapel's Statement of Faith will be used as a general guideline to make an evaluation of the acceptability of the institution.
3. Have attended Hillside Chapel for at least six months and consider Hillside their home church.
4. Must maintain a 2.5 or higher grade point average.
APPLICATIONS MUST BE TURNED IN NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, MARCH 11.
