THURSDAY, JUNE 16 $25.00/PER PERSON LEAVE HILLSIDE AT 9:00AM Join the OWLS as they travel to Blue Grass country near Lexington, Kentucky to tour a horse farm where thoroughbred horses are bred and raised for racing. Enjoy the view as we travel through this scenic part of Kentucky. Travel in comfort on a large, air-conditioned bus with comfortable seats and a restroom. Water is provided on the bus. Before we reach the Lexington, Kentucky area, the bus will stop at a rest area where a box lunch will be served. On our way home the bus will stop at the historic 1950’s era Parkette Diner famous for food and ambiance. Menus will be available at Hillside Chapel (most meals are $10 or less). Cost is $25/person which covers bus transportation, box lunch, and admittance to the horse farm with a guided tour. Horse themed movies such as Seabiscuit, etc. will be shown on the bus as we travel.
