Upcoming Events

Hang tight while we look up scheduled events...

"And day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God, and having favor with all people." -Acts 2:46

This is a multi-generational event for college age and up. We want you to attend! What can I expect at a meeting?

COMFORT meets bi-weekly for 90 minutes. No registration is required. Each meeting begins with a review of group guidelines, and a brief check-in from each member. You'll encounter a friendly and supportive environment where there is no pressure to share.

Meetings are divided into two segments:

  1. Discussion of a mental health topic.
  2. Discussion on what the Bible says on the topic.

We will pray, offer encouragement and support. We are non-denominational, and welcome anyone who is going through a lifelong struggle or a season of depression and/or anxiety.

Meeting time & location:

1st & 3rd Thursdays at 6:30 pm in Room M-14 at Hillside Chapel

(April 5/ April 19/ May 3/ May 17/ June 7)

GriefShare is for people grieving the death of a family member or friend. It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you've lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you've probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.

You are welcome to begin attending the GriefShare group at any session. Each is "self-contained," so you do not have to attend in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin. You will be able to continue with GriefShare through the 13-session cycle and view any of the videos you have not seen.
