breakfast together, and dig deeper into God's Word.


ENCOUNTER: High School & Middle School, Wednesdays 6:30-8:30 pm in the Life Center

Encounter is a mid-week hangout for students to encounter God.

It is a time for them to be themselves, learn about their faith, ask questions, 

have fun and worship freely from the stresses of everyday life.

Upcoming events


  • Encounter April Series
    "Keep Calm Read Your Bible" Series: We won't just tell you to read the Bible; we'll show you how to do it! We're going to look at how the Bible got here and how to read it and understand it.
  • Encounter May Series
    "Before the Famine" Series: We're going to help you get in the right mindset for this year's 30 Hour Famine. Let's draw closer to God, get deeper into why we do the Famine, and learn about poverty, injustice, hunger, refugees, and what the Bible says about them.
  • How to Life: May 11
    How to Life is a movement of high school students who lead their peers to Christ through a 2-hour meeting that includes skits, worship, and student speakers. It's entirely student-led in a casual environment, taking place May 11 from 6:30-8:30 pm in Hillside's sanctuary.
  • 30 Hour Famine: May 18-19
    We will grow closer to Christ and each other as we fast together for 30 hours and raise funds to fight hunger. There will be tons of activities to make our no-eat overnighter unforgettable! Our fast will start at 8:00 am on Friday and we'll meet in the Life Center at 6:30 pm. The fast will end at 2:00 pm on Saturday and the entire event will be over by 3:00 pm.
  • Game Night: May 23
    We'll play video game, board games and gym games.
  • Bowling Night: May 30
    Join us for a night a bowling on Wednesday, May 30. Meet at Hillside at 6:30 pm. Should be back from Beaver-Vu Bowling around 9:00 pm.
  • Mid-Ohio Valley Work Camp: June 17-22
    We'll be serving at Mid-Ohio Valley Work Camp (MOVWC) this summer. It's not too early to start thinking about our summer mission trip! MOVWC is a project organized to give students the opportunity to serve God by serving others who are in need by painting houses. You must register and pay a $60 registration fee by Wednesday, April 25. Click here to register online.
