We are Alien Youth, Hillside Chapel's student ministry for 6th-12th grade students. We're all about encountering Jesus, engaging our faith, and being extreme for Him! The Bible is full of stories of people whose lives were changed by their encounter with Jesus (Like 5:17-26; John 8:1-11; Luke 8:49-56). One thing is certain; an encounter with Jesus is life changing (2 Timothy 5:17). And as Jesus' followers, we're called to continually grow in our relationship with God, and to help others do likewise (Colossians 2:6-7). It's one thing to say you believe in God but do you engage your relationship with Him (James 2:14-19)? We're also called to be extreme for Him and spread the Good News of Jesus in our social circles (Matthew 28:18-20). Jesus told us that we're not of this world (John 17:16). We're called to be different (Romans 12:1-2) because we are citizens of heaven (Philippians 3:20-21).
