    art beasley

Jesus rocked Art's world with his salvation 45 years ago and I have never been the same. He is the hope of mankind and uses his church to bring that HOPE to the world. For 45 years that has been the driving force in my life. Art has been married to Sandy for 41 years and together they have five children and one granddaughter. Art and Sandy landed at Hillside because of God's shift in plans for their lives. They were thinking of heading to Nashville to be around their children when God intervened and redirected their NEXT! They are excited about all that God is doing and wants to do here at Hillside. God has great things planned for us (Ephesians 3:20-21)! Art enjoys traveling with his wife, visiting his children and granddaughter, riding his carbon-fiber TREK bike, swimming, discussing food (and eating it), hanging out at the Frothy Monkey when he's in Nashville, reading history particularly about our Founding Fathers, spending time with friends and talking to people who are far from God. Art has learned that Following God is an adventure and we need to be willing to adjust my schedule when He calls!

    John Emmons

John is passionate about students and desires for them to realize their potential as disciples of Jesus Christ. He believes that students are not the future of the church; they are the church. He enjoys every aspect of student ministry from leading students to Christ and developing them spiritually to just hanging out with them. While not working, John enjoys spending time with his wife Sarah, watching movies, rocking out on guitar, exercising, eating out and playing games of all kinds.
